Yonkers Women in Law Enforcement (YWLE) is a non-profit organization that was established in 2018 with the aim of empowering and supporting women in the field of law enforcement in Yonkers. We recognized the need for a dedicated platform that addresses the unique challenges faced by women in this profession and provides them with the resources, support, and opportunities necessary to thrive and excel.
Since our establishment, we have been committed to promoting professional growth and community engagement within our membership. We believe that by empowering women and advocating for opportunities, we can create a more effective law enforcement community that better serves and represents the diverse population of Yonkers. Through various initiatives, programs, and partnerships, we strive to provide our members with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to succeed in their careers. We offer networking events, training workshops, and community outreach opportunities to foster personal and professional development, build strong relationships, and make a positive impact in the community we serve.
At YWLE, we are proud of the progress we have made since our establishment, and we are grateful for the support and contributions of our members, volunteers, and donors who have helped us advance our mission. We invite you to join us in our mission to support and empower women in law enforcement. Together, we can create positive change and build a stronger community.
